My first cousin graduated with a degree in criminology (pretty simialar to criminal justice) and she attended law school. With your background, you could apply to law school and use that knowledge to be a prosecutor or criminal defense attorney (the latter being more lucrative than the former). You can be an instructor at a police academy. You can work as an FBI agent. Contrary to what a lot of people think, you have a myraid of options.

I would recommend criminology over criminal justice because the former sounds more professional than the latter.

Yes, I am glad that you want to do more for your future. I think on line classes might be a lot easier than in class for you if you have a full time job. Yes, to on line for you. I know some degree now you can work with your community college. You only have to drive to the University twice a week.
