Average GPA for UW Madison?
its my college of choice, right now I have a GPA around 3.9
I have been told stuff like most freshmen coming in are valedictorian or superlatorian (I’m not going to be be either), but I have also been told that there is a variety of GPA’s coming in. I do a lot of honors projects, music, art, sports. Do I have chance at getting in?

Yes. I am a current UW student and i had a 3.9 gpa and got a 30 on my act and i got in. I was not valedictorian or salutatorian or anything. I also did a lot of extra stuff. You should be fine depending on what you did on your act or sat. Madison is amazing though and I would tell you that if you have the chance to go there you should take it for sure. You will love it. The people, the city, the atmosphere are just amazing. And it is a great school. Also if you are worried about the cost just remember that it is the #7 best value public school. GOOD LUCK!
