Austronaut?
I want to be an Astronaut, and am hoping to get into UC Berkely to get a degree in Engineering, but what else do i need to do? And what is the Yearly Pay?

thats a plan. I think you should go to Orbiter. it is a very good flying simulator. the one that they use to train NASA astronauts.
It is a really cool website and they have a really good forum too.
People there are highly educational.
I highly recommend you to check that web site on. They can also give you some excellent tips.
Logging in some flying time would not hurt.

Astronauts are government employees, so they make 40,000 – 70,000 a year. Most astronauts are either Air Force pilots or mission specialists – most mission specialists have PhDs in physics or astrophysics and a lot of other requirements.

Join the ROTC, become a navy pilot, work you way up the chain. Navy pilots earn about 60K/yr starting.
