Arranging a dorm room?

Ok so my roommate moved into her own room.

So now I have my own room and most likely will not get another roommate this semester.

So now I have two beds, two dressers, my mini-fridge, microwave, and tv.

My tv is on top of the mini-fridge.

I would like to put my microwave on one dresser and use the other for an night stand.

But I don’t know where to start arranging it!

There is a closet on one of the long sides of the room too.

The beds are also bunkable but pushing them together wouldn’t work.

Take some graph paper and measure the room and your furnature. Cut out rectangle to-scale peices of paper that resemble your furnature. Move around the peices like a puzzle until you find an arangement you like. This will save you a lot of effort and energy since you wont be moving the furnature itself.

My personal favorite is putting the desk right next to the ned if it will fit. It will make being on the computer and being in bed a much better experience. Caution: That will cause ultimate lazyness. That;s the way I have my bed, I never sit at my desk anymore. =)
