It depends on what online college. Nova Southeastern has become a joke where I live, but Webster is still respected. I think it may have a lot to do with if the originating school had a good reputation before it went online and the number of outlets and franchises it has set up. I have used online credits to recertify for teaching, but I checked with my district first to make sure it was a college they recognized.

I don’t know about online college….it just doesn’t seem right to me. It would be too easy to cheat, and you are not getting the college experience.

i’ve heard no. it really depends on whether or not they are accredited. some online stuff is okay, others are just a scam that not only take your money but your time and expectations as well.
