Anybody take general requirement route during first two years of college?

Hi! Well, am having a hard time deciding what exactly I want to do as a career after college so I was wondering if any of you took the general requirements route during the first two years in college? Was it helpful and did you eventually find the right career for you? What I really (really) dont want is have a job after my college degree and do it solely because I have to in order to pay my bills or something. I want something I will enjoy doing.Would you recommend the general requirements route for someone in my shoes or just pick whatever seems interesting? Thanks in advance! 🙂

ps- I just turned 20 and am starting community college this fall.

I think the general requirement route would be a good idea for you, at least until you get a better idea of what you want to do and what the requirements for that major are. You don’t want to find out when you get to university that only one or two of your classes will count toward your four-year degree, and you’ll have to spend extra time doing boring catch-up work.

ideally, you substitute into knowledgeable. pass to type, study the assignments, do the initiatives and write papers, seem up issues interior the library, and take the examinations. each and each direction interior the middle curriculum–English, historical past, arithmetic, technological information, nice arts, languages, literature–expands your international such which you get an theory of the breadth and intensity of human adventure as properly as an theory of how the organic international is built. it is an extremely useful and effective adventure, one which will shop you from being bored and nervous for something of your existence. in case you artwork it precise, you will proceed the approach over the previous 2 years. faculties are fantastically solid at preparation, yet no longer all that super at activity coaching. it is the preparation which will benefit you maximum.
