I will have to research how to write a novel. As appropriate, the research might be focused on a specific genre of novel.

I will have to create a proposal to be submitted to a publisher. It will include a one-page summary of the story, a catchy title and hook to get the editor’s attention, three sample chapters from the novel, and an outline that summarizes what happens in every chapter of the novel. Each chapter should be about 2500 words in length. From this proposal, the editor should know the whole story, what genre the novel is, its intended audience, and about the student author.
