Definitely the crash of the jetliners in the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. In changed the course of history into one where there was a focus on terror and fanatical Islam which were seen as evil acts by the enemies of freedom and democracy. The enemies of freedom has brought attention to other spots in the world where people suffer from oppression. From Darfur in Sudan to the protests in Burma.

Without a doubt – 9/11/2001 – and why? Because we would not be at war, courtesy of George W. Bush, if that incident had not happened, and we would not have in excess of 3,500 American soldiers dead as of 10/6/07. The only good thing that came out of this was the demise of Saddam Hussein.

It would, without a doubt, have to be the terrorist acts on September 11, 2001. It changed the entire world. Every person in every country was affected in one way or another. It affected the economy, populations, attitudes, politics, education, and family life. It will never be forgotten and never be downplayed. Every person in the world is familiar with the events.
I remember the exact moment – where I was, what I was doing, who I was with, what I was thinking even!
