What happens to pennies?

i have thought of some places that pennies end up but i was hoping that you might be able to help me think of more.

my list thus far is:

-Stay in circulation

-End up in a fountain or wishing well

-Used for chemistry experiments (brass penny= penny coated in zinc and heated)

-Are lost in the couch or Lay-Z-Boy recliner

-End up in a jar with lots of other coins and are taken to a Coinstar machine

-Are part of a coin collection

-A couple are in the Smithsonian

-Are handed to a bum on the street

-Are placed on a train track

-They are turned into souvenirs at amusement parks or at tourist locations

In the summer of 1999, at the urging of Phoenix Suns point guard Jason Kidd, Hardaway was traded to the Phoenix Suns from the Orlando Magics for Danny Manning, Pat Garrity and two future first round draft picks. He was then traded to the New York Knicks on January 6, 2004 along with Marbury and Cezary Trybanski. He was traded back to Orlando, along with Trevor Ariza, for Steve Francis on February 22, 2006, but was then waived by the Magic on February 27, 2006. During the 2006-2007 season Hardaway was rumored to possibly signing 10-day contracts with either the Seattle Supersonics and the Los Angeles Lakers but he didn’t play for either and sat out the entire season.

-hanging out underneath my carseats from when I got ill-fated change in the drivethru.

-There are probably many laying around in mall parking lots or on the sidewalk.

-I know for a fact that some went to the dump because one of my retail jobs used to make us throw them away. How stupid is that? Probably illegal. But, if a customer told us to keep the change, they company would rather the money go in the trash than have the registers have an overage.
