LOL,last year some boys in my class were trying to figure that out they licked and counted all day and they came up with 2,039 licks,unbelievable isn’t it.

No one really know because it depends on how much saliva on ur tounge at the time when u lick the lollipop.
But i tried one time and I came up with 53 or 64 licks.

Believe it or not the wonderful guys at MIT built a machine that replicated tounge action and did a nice little test. They published the results about twenty years ago. No one knows what happened to the machine….Disappeared into the night, it is believed that it was stolen by a perverted night watchman……So, I am not sure what the real answer is, but you can probably look it up on MIT’s website….Have fun, PS. why did you want to know, do you have the machine?

It depends on the amount of saliva in the mouth. That depends on factors such as the amount of fluids a person drinks, medications a person takes which may dry a person’s mouth, age, other metabolic and digestive factors, etc.
