Right-handies?

Is it true that right-handed people live longer in average of 7 years longer then left-handed people?

I have heard that us left-handers have a shorter life expectancy, but it isn’t a 100% accurate study-as it could be purely coincidental. Some believe this is because of a trauma experienced during development, therefore making the body more prone to illness, yet it is still unsupported with sufficient evidence. The jury’s still out on that one…

I’m a “right-handie” and my twin is left-handed so I really hope that statement isn’t true. Actually, the twin is ambidextrous…

I’m totally lame with my left hand, which doesn’t seem to bode well for me!

Here are two sites to check that I found researching:

http://www.census.gov/cgi-bin/ipc/popclock.w

(Population and historical facts)

http://www.prb.org/sixbillion/

(info on Population trends–includes news, statistics, analysis, etc.)

Happy hunting!

No. Some people change from right to left. And some are both.
