Puzzle:Father to decide to give property to wisest of seven sons. Test based on 7 horses on track.?
A wise old man wants to give all his property to the wisest of his 7 sons. To test them, he gives them 7 horses and they have to go around a circular track. The slowest person wins and is deemed the wisest. That is the one who finishes last. The horses are in different tracks, all having the same distance to cover and the horses cannot stop at any time and have to be moving at all times. Who is the wisest son?
Note: I don’t know the answer. I was asked this question. I want to know the answer and also the name of this puzzle with reasoning given too.

A wealthy land owner challenges his two sons to a horse race. The one whose horse is slowest will inherit the entire estate. After a few days into the race, the brothers have made no progress and begin to wonder what to do. Upon the advice of a wise old man they jumped on the horses and raced as fast as they could to the finish line. What did the wise old man suggest?
The wise man told them to switch horses as the race depended on the slowest horse, not the slowest son.
