Two weeks may not be long enough. It was being shipped from China to where?

However, I would advise e-bay that there may be a problem. Did you pay using PayPal? If so, you should be able to get your money back if you don’t receive the item.

Ebay rules state that a seller has 7 days to ship your item. It might have gone out late. I wouldn’t think 2 wks is long enough for an item from China. It takes 10 days to ship to Canada. I would wait. Next time pay the extra for tracking.

Be aware that international shipping can take anything from a few days to three weeks, depending on route schedules and the customs guys.

How did you pay for the item by the way? If you used Paypal you can file a dispute to get a refund….but please ONLY do that if you are positive that the item won’t arrive and that you repeatedly get ignored by the seller.

Edited to respond to John:

I used to buy from China via eBay quite often, and not once did I get burned. The scammers are easy to spot when you know what you’re looking for, and that goes for wherever they come from.

it takes a while to ship from china

i have waited 4 weeks before

file an item dispute .

click on the feedback icon far right of your won item . a drop down list appears. select item not recieved and enter the codes they ask for .

this will generate an email to the seller from ebay and may speed the process up . but it sounds like its been sent and that the mail is slow to me

You need to report it to ebay ASAP and to paypal if that’s who you paid with. Hopefully it is because you’ll most likely get your money back from paypal especially if they’re not communicating. Here’s what I recommend for the future:

1. Do not buy from China, mostly scams

2. If you do decide to buy from another country (or just in general) when looking at feedback, look closely. There are a lot of sellers with fake feedback left for themselves by alternate accounts.

3. Always pay with paypal. It’s the safest way and the few times I’ve had problems I’ve always got my money back.
