OK, your IQ is 129, which makes it on the high side. You seem like an intelligent, articulate kid. IQ isn’t the end-all be-all determiner of knowledge. How much you put into learning ultimately shapes your intelligence. IQ is mostly just a measure of your ability to recognize abstract patterns. Yours is high but not extremely high. That should be good enough.

My IQ is 171. I don’t know a single person in real life who could beat me on an IQ test (though there are a number of such people out there, I don’t know any of them), but I know dozens of people I consider smarter than myself. IQ is only a part of intelligence, as I said, and you really shouldn’t get too hung up on your number.

A 129 IQ is above average. However, most scholars agree that IQ testing is fairly inaccurate until at least age 16. I say stop worrying about it and retest once you’re 16 or 17.

I do realize that the Aspergers makes it very difficult NOT to worry about something like this, but you need to try to relax. Honestly, most jobs don’t even look to IQ scores, but to grades in college and possible work experience.

The only way to totally be at rest would be for you to take a renowned, standardized test like from Mensa. However, your IQ now will not affect your ability to become a psychoanalysist when you get older. Anything could happen between now and then. You’re only 14.

IQ is, in some ways, like blood pressure readings. Take it a few minutes later and its completely different. The only real way to assess IQ using the test, is to take a test, a different one, every few weeks and get an average.

Don’t worry about it. You’ve got what it takes to be a psychoanalyst. And what does it take to be a psychoanalyst? A pen and desire.

why not? measuring iq has always never been that accurate, so it’s important that you get as much opinions from other people. but is this really a question? it seems as though you’ve already decided on what to do.
