Can anybody shed light on this?
In Dumfries & Galloway not far from Castle Douglas there is a stone circle called the Roan Stones. Can anybody enlighten me on this please.

Probably one of the ancient standing stone circles which were used for worship and sacrifice. Don’t know about this one specifically.
