Why is it important for someone in teacher profesion to have effective communication skills?
Favorite Answer
Teachers must communicate with students, parents, coworkers, and administrators on a daily basis. If they cannot effectively express their message, they will not be understood, which can lead to all kinds of problems. To add to this, effective communication is not just the words coming out of your mouth; it also includes nonverbal cues, such as body language and eye contact. These nonverbal cues can also be very important to getting your message across, especially when the people communicating with each other do not speak the same language at the same level. It is obvious from your question that English is not your first language. So if you are communicating with native English speakers, you must use both verbal and nonverbal communication to convey your message so you can be understood completely.
