Which one is worse: THE REPUBLICAN PARTY or The DEMOCRAT PARTY.?
All of which indorse governmental policies in-line with Christian idealogy, despite the fact America is multicultural and will continue to grow as a diverse country.
The Republicans run on anti-Abortion, Anti-Gay marriage, the War on Terror, and the War on Iraq.
They stay far away from issues like universal healthcare, global warming/ environmental improvement, anti-job outsourcing and improving the conditions of the poor (those living under the Federal Poverty level).
They avoid these issues because they don’t know how to answer them and are afraid they’ll upset their ceocon/christian right base.
NOW, THE DEMOCRATS ARE THE EXACT OPPOSITE. They want to talk about the environment, healthcare, and improving the environment because these issues appeal to the middle class and poor.

If you want the government to attempt to solve all your problems and you think there are a handful of people in existence who can figure out a way to redistribute the wealth in a way that will make everyone happy, then vote for a Democrat.
If you believe you are the best steward of your money and that the government does not have all the answers, and that the handful of people cannot ever make decisions that will make EVERYONE happy at once, then vote for a Republican.
Universal health care is a Democrat issue because for some reason, the Democrats believe that if the government takes over health care, it will magically become more fair and efficient. You don’t have to be a Democrat or a Republican to know nothing could be further from the truth.
Global warming is a Democrat issue because Democrats created the panic so that they could stand up and say “elect us; we have the answers.” Again, you don’t have to be a Democrat or a Republican to know that nothing could be further from the truth. Look, Republicans don’t want to unnecessarily spew a bunch of crap into the air and the groundwater any more than Democrats do. It’s the NEWS MEDIA that would have you believe otherwise, and all because the Republicans as a base simply want more research and more solid, difinitive answers before starting a worldwide panic.
There are plenty of Republicans out there who do not ever want to be lumped in with the Christian right. The news media lumps us all together, but it just isn’t true. I am not a Republican because of some arcane religious ideology, and neither are any of my friends or family.
There are also those who are a little shaky on the Iraq war thing too. I’m not so sure we shouldn’t have gotten out right after busting Saddam Husssein.
But right now, the Republicans are being unfavored by the people. Due to the Bush administration. Maybe if President Bush did some improvement with the war and improved the country status, maybe things might turn around.
Thanks for clearing out what was the Republicans and Democractics views for me, I got confused from my other friends.
This is a totally loaded question, as there is no “better” or “worse”. This country is based on multiple views coming together to form a union. It’s not a homogenous, liberal free-for-all, hon. Study up a bit on history (past the last 30 years) and government, and then come back and ask a question that’s actually a question.
You are allowed to have an opinion, to state an opinion, and to vote according to your opinion. That’s what living in a democratic republic is all about. It’s the basis of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence (you might try reading them sometime).
However, when you spend your time hate-mongering and trying to appeal mainly to people’s emotions and hot-spot issues, without anything deeper, you negate everything that this country was based on. Try doing a little research through source documents, not just Nancy Pelosi’s agenda.
And why the heck is this in Teaching, anyway?
So, pick your poison. They both suck for their own reasons.
