Modernized movie version of William Shakespeare’s JULIUS CAESAR?
I’m a high school English teacher. When teaching Shakespeare, I like trying to show the students movies or stories that are more modern (and even better if “teen” oriented, but school appropriate) that tie into the Shakespeare stories. Does anyone know of a “modern” Julius Caesar story? (I’m thinking of how “10 Things I Hate About You” is like “Taming of the Shrew” and “West Side Story” is like “Romeo and Juliet.” Please help!

Just show them the most recent version of the movies, I mean it may not be there favorite movie but they’ll prefer it rather than reading. Plus the movie will give them accurate details of the story or atleast most of it.

sure, i’ve got examine it and that i in my opinion cherished it. the only undesirable element approximately it somewhat is that the significant charactor(Julius Caesar) died interior the direction of the play. once I fist examine it i presumed it replaced into extremely difficult, yet once you already know a minimum of extremely on the topic of the background of Julius Caesar and historical Rome it turns into plenty much less confusing.
