This will hep the student initially understand multiplication. Than once they understand it have them make a 10 by 10 chart to fill in for the multiplication table. Have them write this chart or say this chart repetitively to commit it to memory.

Have flash cards 4. Give them frequent short timed multiplication quizzes (have alot of problems on the paper and see how much they can get done, every time they do them you will see the page begin to fill up more and more everytime because they will be forced to learn them to finish the quiz). Learning Multi. is really hard when you first have to remember them but you have to. I am in Pre-Calculus now and I don’t know how hard this class would be if i didn’t know my multi. you just got to take time with them because of course when you learn something for the first time its hard but they’ll get it evenually if you do those simple strategies above. Don’t Worry: They’ll get it! : )
