Ask for help.Your teacher is there to teach you, and if you aren’t grasping the subject then he needs to explain it for you. I’m sure you aren’t the only one having difficulty, as all kids learn differently and at different paces.

I’d say “Thats a very good question” and then let your teacher know you do not have the answer. Your teacher will respect your honesty (coming from someone who works in high school)

Simple as that.
Teachers are there to teach that’s their job, when the class has finished approach the teacher and ask them if they would explain it to you.
