Lack of community support.

Lack of discipline in schools is caused by many things. Mostly, though, I believe it is caused by the fact that schools are afraid to punish because of what the parents will say. They may think that if they ignore the problem, then it will go away, but they are sadly mistaken. Also, since students know that they are unlikely to be punished, they are not afraid to misbehave. If schools had harsher punishments that would actually make the kids not want to behave badly, that would help. They need to be punished based on what they do, and not just given some cookie-cutter punishment like detention. Whomever is doing the punishing needs to look at what has been done and decide where to go from that. Until that happens, it is highly unlikely that any improvement will be seen in the school system.

parents are the first influence of children at a young age…I believe that if a child has bad parents, it follows. Because the things he learns from the parents will become what kind of person he will be…

Indiscipline in school is caused by indiscipline at home

A complex question in the first place.

But it can be simplified by putting into various categories an individual’s behavioral response to various stimuli.

There is no simple answer. Indiscipline must be defined first, and then discipline also described.

Once the criteria is set the possible courses of action can be laid out.

As a teacher, I think that a big portion of the problem is lack of support from parents, community, state and nation as a whole. Everyone says that they support education, but when it comes time to put their money where there mouth is, all education seems to get is lip service,(if even that.) This all has a combined effect of sending the message to students that education really isn’t all that important. If it is not all that important, why would they,(the students)exercise any discipline. Add to that, the power to discipline students is constantly under attack. I not saying that educators should have the right to beat students, but modern kids fear nothing and respect even less.

I would say that trying to fit in with peers causes most of it. Other reasons could be “having a bad day,” picked on at home, and also some deep emotional issues.

Lack of sleep and poor nutrition can lead to some of the above reasons.

The main cause of indiscipine in schools is lack of professional attitude and increasing commercial attitude. The schools have bcecome profit centres and commercial enterprises instead of temples of learning. The college management and teachers have only profit motive. This leads to all sorts of malpractices like encouragement of private tuitions, irregularity in staff recruitment etc.

Lack of discipline; especially public schools bc they are low budget. Private school students tend to behave better and excel better. It seems as if anybody can go to a public school, kids from troubled homes, they get that from their home and bring it onto their school.

That depends what ,,indiscipline ” means for you. You should know that the people are borne to be free, and if a stupid techer tryes to impose his authority upon human than he will face his willing to be free, and this will never change.
