I’m not sure by what you mean by ‘A Levels’. Are you in the United States?
In any event, most students interested in infant care will enroll in an Early Childhood program. It includes infant/child development, early childhood psychology, speech/language, early literacy, etc.

You usually have to go to university now and do a BEd degree, or any other degree followed by a PGCE. You usually need 2/3 A Levels for this but mature students without A Levels can do an access course. It doesn’t matter too much what subjects your A Levels are in, but you need Maths and English at GCSE level for most courses.
