There is a student teacher in my class, and she is pretty strict. What can I do to make her like me?
Favorite Answer
1) Pays attention in class.
2) contributes constructively to classroom discussion.
3)Always the first to finish the assigned work and helps the other kids around.
4) has a sense of humour { which he knows when to use}
Raise your hand and ask questions but do not do them in order to be annoying, but show curiosity. Teachers love those who show interest in their class. Also, If you are allowed to sit whereyou want, SIT IN FRONT. yes, where you sit leaves an impression on the teacher concerning your motivation.
Hope this helps.
Remember that she’s still learning to be a teacher. It takes time to learn the best way to handle students so that they learn and want to be there. Another problem is that student teachers are usually quite young and might be nervous that the students treat them like they aren’t really important. That might be why she’s so strict. After a few years of teaching, she’ll be a much better, less rigid teacher. Give her a break to help her be better.
She is new to teaching, as she is a student teacher. Eventually she will calm down and be less strict or more approachable.
She will still need to grade (hopefully) objectively regardless of how she personally feels about you.
Keep in mind, you don’t have to like everyone, and not everyone will like you.
Quit gossiping with the girl sitting next to you.
Quit doing math work in an English class.
