I went to homeschooling in 9th grade. So I just took a 4 year course. So grade 8-12. It was cheaper that way. Well anyways for a four year course I think you have to have 16 credits in all. And after you finish all your books and all you credits and send the exams back in you’ll eventually get your diploma. Like after you send all it back in I would call them like 3 days after you do that and ask when you will be able to get your diploma. So that way you tell them that you already completed all your things so maybe they can go ahead and get around to all your stuff and grade it if they haven’t already. Then they might tell you that they’ll send it out. It might take awhile though. I graduated Oct 9 , 06 but didn’t get mine until the first week in Nov.

There is no such thing as “the” American high school diploma. You earn a diploma based upon the school and state requirements for earning a diploma. Some schools require fewer courses. Some schools have specific mandatory courses. All depends on where you go to school.

Well, I know when I got mine in ’03 it was pretty easy. After all, you don’t have to get an average score like on most tests you take in life, you only had to score half of average. You are only expected to score as high as the AVERAGE high schooler, so yeah, as you can imagine, it took little effort. But as I hear, it has gotten a little tougher. I was lucky lol, but it can’t be that bad.
