Teachers: What grading software do you use?

My high school is looking to purchase new grading software for our teachers. What grading programs do you use, and what do you recommend we purchase? So far Micrograde and Grade Machine seem to be our top choices.

we use Easy Grade Pro. It works well on both Windows and Apple computers. You can use part of it or all of it. You can create reports based on grades, attendance, work completed, etc. I usually send home these reports as their midterm reports.

It is a software that is separate from the internet, but it has the capability to be linked to a school webpage, giving parents the ability to check their child’s grade with a special user name and password.

Grades can be modified for any classroom. You can use number grades, letter grades, 4 point rubrics, comment grades (like “no grade” or “full credit/partial credit” etc).

I have also used Lettergrade, which is an internet application. The only problem with it being an internet gradebook is if there is a problem with the site or with your school internet connection.

good luck
