It is a good experience, but too short for the money. You would be better off using the same money and taking a year exchange program instead.

This is a very legitimate program. I went with People to People to Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji last summer. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend going. IT is a bit costly, however I raised money by car-washes and other such fundraisers. I went with a group of 40 kids and 4 adults from the USA, plus a guides from each country. We got to do many amazing things that I never would have gotten to experience if I went on vacation. Some examples include visiting a Fijian school, and living with a New Zealand family for 3 days. I actually almost went to Austrailia and New Zealand through the program. I kick myself everyday for not going. It is legitimate and it is the chance of a lifetime! GO!
