The teacher has an enormous duty responsibility to pass knowledge to the students. This productivity is impaired by having to deal with troublemakers. YOUR EDUCATION IS IMPAIRED by this, so you need to help the teacher get the job done.

It is important, for good grades that the students are able to learn how to do what the teacher wants, but it is also important, if time permits, to expand educational experience to see other ways things can be done.

If you are having issues with students doing or completing work I always call the parent. Or, another thing that I have done recently is to make a personal, after school visit to the students home. I take an administrator if I can or another teacher and show up, unannounced, about supper time. I have never been turned away and always warmly received. It is amazing how the word gets around that I will show up at your house and the work for the visited student, as well as, the others climbs out of the toilet. I just made the first promise of a visit on Friday and one student piped right up and said, “Hey he is not kidding he showed up at my house last year to visit my brother. My dad invited him and the principal to eat dinner with our family. They both stayed and it was the best thing that ever happened to my brother, and it scared the crap our of me!” By the way, the brother, now my student, would take a bullet for me…he knows I care!

I use a social contract to run my room it works great! I have written zero referral this year and will likely not have one this year. We use a program called Capturing Kids Hearts by the Flippen Group in Texas. It has reduced our referrals to almost nothing and we have had no major fights on campus in the fist 5 weeks of school. We have nobody on the expulsion list at this point.

I am a teacher and administrator and I would encourage you to talk to your administration and look for help with the students you have. That is not a sign of weakness but good thinking to get others input about meeting your kids needs. Sometimes the best teacher need a tutor!

Yes one should always follow the teacher’s directions. When the student is in school, the teacher is the one in charge. Children are expected to listen to their parents and they are expected to listen to teachers. If a student feels they are being asked to do things they don’t like then they should talk to the teacher about it after class, so the teacher can explain the importance of why he/she was asking what they were asking.

Why not? Follow the teachers directions at all times. If there is something that you do not like, then tell your parents to talk to the teacher and the administrator about it. If you choose not to follow the teachers’ directions, then you will be in trouble and jeopardizing your chances of graduating.

yes, students should follow teacher direction. They should follow directions because the teacher is the professional trained in education. They should follow because if students could learn without the teacher then they would not come. Lastly, teachers as a general rule aren’t invested enough to tell you something wrong. If they,(the teachers,) are invested enough to do so, then it is because it is in their best interest to tell you something correct.

Of course, they should. If they don’t understand the purpose of a lesson, they might ask. But part of the purpose may be to seriously think and conclude for themselves what the purpose is. Its called meta level thinking. Thinking about what you are thinking about.

For example, in political discussion, would you believe all the negative things you hear about any candidate and blindly them, when you could be spreading false rumors.

If the hardship makers mothers and fathers won’t come to settle the situation and help their very own toddlers do properly at school they’re absolute to make a similar blunders. isn’t your fault for the youngsters parenting is so undesirable. for sure in the experience that your fearful of the possibility of having fired because of the fact some redneck or ghetto rat is purely too ignorant to come back to help to help his youngster’s guidance they don’t deserve you dropping time attempting to help his youngster whilst he’s not doing something at school whilst there is different toddlers that are seeking for for guidance.
