Painful experiences can sometimes teach valuable lessons?
Favorite Answer
*My divorces (sorry …) taught me to NEVER trust my feelings to ANYBODY ever again.
**I learned how fragile kids can be, and to ALWAYS put the feelings of my kids/students ahead of my own desires (I’m pretty much never too busy, sleepy, hungry, etc. to address their needs).
**I also learned that anything could be gone in a flash, and to cherish life and all of its experiences.
**I don’t take ANYTHING for granted, anymore.

Somtimes people just don’t get it, so it comes to them in a big push instead of a light poke. Some people just don’t get it until they really feel it. I had about 1 of those in my life so far and i’d say it definetly pushed me in a different direction. I have a different view on some poeple and life now, but i’m still the same person i’m just headed in a better direction. Eventually i’ll become less causious, but i have to always look back and remember how big the impact of my choice was. I’m happy now, but i had to go through a lot of stuff to feel that way. All my previous happiness didn’t really feel right. Now i feel somwhat pure when i smile almost like i accomplished somthing. It’s a great feeling to have.
A word to the wise: gentlemen should not put their privates into a cigar cutter.
