Other than elementary school, is there anything else you can teach with a BA in Liberal Studies?
Concentrationin Social Science.
I know you would need a teaching certificate, but aside from that.

In most states that comply with No Child Left Behind, it is doubtful that you would be able to teach Language Arts/English, Science, or Math on the 6-12 level. If your Liberal Studies degree constitutes history requirements, then you could teach social studies.
Ultimately, the question is this: do you have at least 5 college courses that are devoted to one of the core subjects (LA, Science, Math, SS)? If the answer is no, then you are probably unable to teach public school 6-12.

You might want to try Social Studies. Each state has different requirements. Find out form the state departments of education. You will need to take mores courses as well as education classes.
Sometimes private or parochial schools hire teachers who are not state certified.
Usually your salary will increase as you get more courses, higher degrees or time on the job.

Do you have any minors….poly sci? Anthro? Archeology? Writing? Languages? Econ? Math? Physics? Psych?
A straight degree with just a concentration in social science is pretty barren. Social worker is the only other option I can think of.

You can teach English in many foreign countries, in Europe, Asia, and South America for (locally) very nice compensation, housing, air travel provided…
At everything from the kindergarten to college level, depending on experience and degree.

It all depends on where you want to teach. Different states have different policies, but now days you need to have a real concentration no matter what grade.
