Pharmacist must know how the body functions and what the drugs will do. They must also know what the effects (good and bad) the drugs will have on a person including drugs interaction with one another. A firefighter needs to understand the properties of combustibles as well as what certain elements will do to a fire. Some are detectives, analyzing how a fire got started and where it occured. You need to understand the elements.

A pharmacist uses chemistry compounds, science skills of accurate measuring. Some are research pharmacists performing experiments to develop new compounds.
