how can i prepare/train to become an LSAT teacher/tutor?

I read that in order to teach the lsat for princeton review or kaplan you need to score in the 99th% on the lsat. How can I train myself to get that score? Please help, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You don’t need a 99th percentile score or even to take the LSAT to teach for Kaplan. Go down to the center, tell them you want to apply for an LSAT teacher position, and they will give you a practice LSAT to take as a hiring requirement. If you do well enough on that test, and if you have a half-decent personality, they will hire you.

You should look around at salaries first, before committing to Kaplan. Companies like PowerScore and TestMasters pay a lot more to their LSAT teachers, but they do require you to take a real test and score in the 99th percentile.

You’re kidding right?

With a 99 percentile, who would want to teach at Kaplan?

I’d go to the best law school I could get into and make 90-100k coming out.

I took 2 kaplan courses, our instructor went to University of Chicago Law School, got his degree, and decided not to be a lawyer, and now he does Kaplan test preps.

Maybe you could call Kaplan in Chicago, ask for the Lincoln Park branch, for Adam.
