this is really weird but they teach you about why not to at my school. at my school they thought us about like why not to and like viruses and stuffsss like that. haha and yeahhh.

I would like to say that techers are supposed to be teaching human sexuality at a very young age. I went to a conference today where the speaker said that today’s 5th grader knows more about sex than when we (teachers) were in the 9th grade. It is definitely a common issue that schools need to address w/parents at the 3rd and 4th grade level and actually, at our school, we talk about it at even younger ages…it would really depend on your school, and whether it was a religious school or not…today, we try not to wait until the last month of your high school senior year…for some young people that is too late! I admire your ability to recognize that there more “good” to having sex at a young age…especially with so many diseases and higher risks emotionally that you could incur…hang in there…parents should really be helping out here!

It depends on the school district. Where I teach we were not aloud to teach anything other that what was in the book, which was the equivalent of plant reproduction. However this was 5th and 6th grade, I am not sure what is taught at upper levels.

I didn’t start really learning about sex from school still last school year (10th grade).

Around your age they’re just gonna tell you the VERY basics of sex. Then when you get in high school you’ll get deeper in the subject about STD’s, Pregnacy, etc.

Please don’t get obsessed with sex at your age. Doing it very young is not good at all… And you’ll def regret it later on.
