Did anyone here teach in Switzerland or another country?

If anyone out there has ever worked with TEFL/TESL, I would like to know. In particular, I am curious about if anyone taught in another country. I have been told by a TEFL site that I could make a lot of money if I taught in Switzerland. I need to know what the catch is, if there is one. Any Americans,British, or Australians out there know about this program? Please let me know. Thanks

I have worked in Asia (mostly Korea) for some time now and have been able to make as much money as I wanted. I have actually had to turn students away. There is no problem earning $4 – 5,000 a month, which is more than you will make in most teaching positions in the states, and that is not the limit. You can make more, just depends on how much you want to sell your soul. As for Switzerland, I have no idea, but would likely agree that the Middle East is a target area for making great fortunes if you are willing to take the risks that the area suffers. I prefer Korea because of the culture and it is virtually safe to walk most streets at night without fear of attack.

I’m British and have been teaching in “TEFL/TESOL” for almost 20 years in Asia. I’ve never worked in Switzerland, but I heard that the big money is in the middle east.
