not really, last year we watched a movie. this year we didnt do anything except a moment of silence. i was disapointed although this time of year is depressing.

Because children today live in a world of violence – they are exposed to it every day through the news, movies, video games etc. They live in the “now” and “me” . 9/11 (they feel) had nothing to do with them. My children were young when 9/11 happened; I kept all the newspapers and I recorded hours of this event (while it was happening for them). I wanted to make sure that they understood what happened and why. I’m sure that their parents have never spoken to them about it either. Hopefully, when they are older they will understand the impact it has had on our life today.

yeah, my school has this thing where at like 8:43 or something (the time the first plane crashed) we have a moment of silence to rememeber those who died.

yes we had a bibg disscussion in my classes about it and actually the first plane before it crashed went right over top my school and there is no planes that went over it i was in 1st grade so yea

not one of them. we did the usual moment of silence…but half the kids just stand there and look around the room nd when its over, laugh at how stupid that moment was….idk i get offended.
