Logic has been defined as the study of the rules of correct thinking. It concentrates on the principles that guide rational thought and discussion. Yes it can. When you boil it down, logic is a sequence of steps, often showing causality.

Math and science drill thinking in a step-by-step method. It may rub off onto other areas of life.

Now, I also feel that some are more predisposed to it just like other areas.
