As regards to teaching abroad with approved TEFL title.?

I have a dilema, I have a TEFL qualification which allows me to teach in the private sector in Spain but not the public.

How can I have it validated in order for it to be accepted as credit worthy when applying for a teaching post in a publicly funded school in Spain ?

I was recently offered a teaching position at a school but the inspector of education where I am , is not aware of whether he can accept my title as proof of a legal title to teach English .

Same in the UK. In the UK there is no way you will be accepted as a public sector teaching post with a private sector TEFL/TESOl qualification. You must enrol on an appropriate training course before being accepted. Perhaps there are exceptions, but those are the rules as read to me.

I was told there are no exceptions and no ways around. Sorry if yo have the same situation.
