If the percentage is less than 100% just put a decimal point in

front of it and multiply the number by it.

e.g. 12 multiplied by .92 = 11.04

If the percentage is larger than 100% e.g. 120%, just put a

decimal point after the 1 e.g. 1.20 and then multiply your

number by that ammount.

e.g. 120% of 15 = 15 multiplied by 1.20 = 18

I find this easy to do, with or without a calculator.

= 11 1/25

multiply 12 by 92/100

12x 92/100= 11.04

the same result if you’ll do it this way

12 x .92= 11.04

2. “Over” means “divided by”

3. “Of” means multiply (or times)

You can do that one for yourself now.

Try practising on similar ones that you make up for yourself. You will always be right if you follow that pattern.
