What do you do if two entries in a works cited have the same title. What is the proper format?

In my case two of my web sites are titled “Child Labour”. How should I distinguish between them when using embedded references?

If the page title has the same name(“Child Labor” )and they come from two different websites (for example, one came from HistoryChannel.com and the other came from Grolier.com), then use the name of the webSITE in your embedded parenthetical documentation to differentiate which article you are making reference to in the body of your writing. HOWEVER, if either of these has an AUTHOR then you should be including the author (Last name, First name) not only in your WC but also in the embedded documentation (Last name only—unless you have 2 with same last name, then add on the first initial).

Example:

“In 1882, the overall percentage of labor among school age children was on a steady incline due to an increased need for cotton staples” (Grolier). Later that same year, a strike erupted among cotton mill workers who saw that “the unsafe conditions were harming their children “(History Channel).

So, if I’m your teacher, and I’m flipping back to your WC page, I’ll see that you have 2 entries with the same name. To help me determine which entry is where the quote/fact was found, I’ll know to look at what’s next–the name of the website.

As for putting an entire link in parenthetical documentation:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, please never do this. It screams “I’m lazy. I didn’t listen to a darn thing in class, and I didn’t even bother to try complete this assignment correctly.” Trust me, your teacher is going to spend a lot of his/her time (a lot personal time outside of the school day) reading and evaluating your paper–make your paper something worth reading, especially after he or she has already read tons of other papers, some of which were lazily put together pieces at the last minute. You want yours to be interesting, smooth, and logical–one that your teacher finishes reading/evaluating easily (without fumbling through it trying to figure out what you meant), smiles, and thinks “good paper…easy to grade….good grade”, right?

If there are greater desirable than one author then you definately might do… Lastname, Firstname, (Firstname Lastname,…) and Firstname Lastname. identify [underlined]. Publicationcity: Publishers, Dateofpublication. occasion: Brown, Henry, Gabe Kahn, and Adam Gotbaum. Examples of Works referred to Entries [underlined]. Washington: Penguin, 2010. and for the 1st question…i for my area don’t comprehend on condition that i’ve got by no potential had this undertaking. If I had to guess i might say to apply the identify quite of the call so its..(LotR 4) then your bibliography might desire to make it sparkling that its from a similar author.

If you know the authors, put them alphabetically. If not, you should put the date on which you pulled them from the site.
