my parents dont want me to go to a hawaiian uni because they say it is to far away and all the drug problems scare them. i have fallen in love with the university and am desparate to go i wont go for another 2 years as i need to save up but i really want them to see what i see. my mum has said that if i go further then 5 hours away by airplane they will not help me at all and might even disinherit me. i love my parents but its my life my career and shouldnt i do what i want to do? i have already told them that i will come home whenever i can and they can come and vist me and soak up the great weather as we are in england and dont get alot of it. i know all the steps i have to do but i dont want my parents to disown me. how do i get them to see sense?
