Best University to study Architecture in Canada?

Currently I live in Manitoba, and once I graduate I want to get into the field of Architecture. However I don’t want to stay at home and study at the U of M so I would like to get out of the province and study somewhere else. I don’t really know which Universities in the country are particularly good in this field, so I would like to know what the best place is in Canada to study it.

Hi. You might want to try a ‘search by program’ on the Study in Canada website (URL below). Then, note the universities in which you are interested in…. call their ‘Alumni’ or ‘Career Placement / Advancement’ offices and see if they can give you some information on where graduates are located, average salaries, etc. They may even be able to hook you up with some recent graduates as ‘mentors’. It’s worth a shot, eh?

Just a note….the ‘Study in Canada’ website has been experiencing some technical difficulties this week. If you have problems, there are also some additional ‘Canadian School Search Options’ on the “Finding Your School” page on the U.S. Students to Canada website (URL also listed below). It doesn’t matter what country you’re from … the search suggestions and some of their tips and guides are good resources for students from both sides of the border. Good luck!
