quick question about the SAT?
so i signed up for the SAT on collegeboard and there was a page where you could type in colleges that would receive your scores. is this necessary to send them NOW? or do you just send the colleges your SAT scores when you actually apply to them? help!

It is only necessary if you know what school to send them to. Otherwise, you can always let guidance send it with your transcript, or ask for it to be sent later. Many underclassmen these days take the SAT, and have no idea what college to send them to.

You can send them now too. That’s what I did. Just to let the colleges know that you are interested in their school and it doesn’t have to count until you take the final SAT that you want to count.
