Is it better join NITs (branch like metallurgy,civil) rather than HBTI KANPUR with a branch like EE,CHE etc.?

Is there a healthy possibility of improving branch in NITs or i should join HBTI KANPUR. Is it make any difference that nit is a national level institute but hbti is a state level(means affilated to UP technical university)

It always depends what you want to do afterwards. Try to contact alumni of both institutions. Ask them your questions. They should know why they decided to study at [NIT or HBTI]. They can tell you about their experiences at study time and afterwards. Use their experiences to make your decisions.
