i want to study french. where and how to start?

1. Buy some CDs for Tutorials
2. Enroll French classes at universities
3. Check the web for some french lessons and free downloads.
4. And engage in conversation with French people
If you are American, then they don’t like you.
However, the best mean to learn a foreign language I know is immersion in the related country. Then write and write and read and read using this language until, at some point, you’ll think in this language.
Oh, by the way; I’m French and Iearned English in the United States. Sounds like an advice good enough to you?
I’m french so the best advice I can give you is to watch movies in french if you can. You can read books too.
Our grammar is not really easy so if you can buy a grammar book, it would be great too.
But don’t worry, when you’ll be in Belgium, you’ll have to speak french, and it will come easily!
