What jobs are available to me with an associates degree in liberal arts?

I plan on going on to get a bachelors in psychology, but can I use this degree in the meantime. Was anyone else able to use this degree for anything.

Sorry, but in my experience, an associate’s degree does not help much in the working world, but it’s good for transferring to a 4 year college.

Liberal Arts as a focus really does not prepare you for much of anything other than continuing your education.

Use the insight that you got from your liberal art classes to find out what interested you most, then persue more classes in that and try to get entry level jobs in that field (file clerk, receptionist, data entry, administrative assistant, etc…)

The plus side of a Liberal Arts education is that you are a better rounded person and probably a better conversationalist!

At least your question was written better than 90% of the questions i’ve seen today…

You can probably get a job in retail, banking, or administration. You could try a temporary or staffing agency and get an entry-level job in any industry. Experience is very valuable, so don’t underestimate any opportunity that may come your way. If you are interested in pursuing a career as a counselor or psychologist, then try to get some experience at hospitals, clinics, non-profit agencies, or schools.

Good luck!

In Michigan you can get a job at the corner store bagging, if you will work 3rd shift.
