Well, study hard =)) I hate math really, but my mom enrolled me in Kumon, this math/reading thing. It really helps! It helped me compute faster, Kumon is Japanese. But some say Enopi is better, it’s like Kumon but Enopi is Korean. They say Enopi helps you develop your critical thinking, like in word problems 😀

Do some background research on Kumon or Enopi if you want. If you can study Algebra on your own and understand it, the better. I don’t really like tutors, you won’t be independent in your studies. But if you really don’t get it, well Kumon or Enopi 😀

Well, follow the basic rule: Isolate the variable(for e.g: x) and then switch the sign when you take a number to the opposite side.

For example: 2x+3=5

You will want to isolate x;

Take 3 to the other side and subtract from 5 because 3 was being added;

Then divide (5-3) by 2 because it was being multiplied.

Answer: 1

My trick, take it slowly and never hurry(except when necessary :P).

Furthermore, put your answer in place of the variable in the original question and check for your answer:

2(1)+3=2+3=5

well, a lot of practice helps…. just remembering the steps on how to solve a certain problem may help you on the other problems that you will encounter…. just practice the same problem again and again until you get the right answer w/o looking!!! i know it’ll work….. 🙂

algebra is easy and boring..just practice..solve many similar problems so that when u encounter a problem in the test u wont even have to think..and that will save time..

if by algeb u mean algebra…. study, study hard
