GMAT of 650 is a very good score. with 3 years work experience and that score, you can gain admission to a large number of very good universities. If you have taken the GMAT, you probably intend to get an MBA.

To find the best MBA program for your needs, go to http://mba.us.com/guide/, a free public service. This site enables you to specify criteria and select features that you consider most important, and search for MBA programs that meet your criteria. You get a list of schools ranked according to how well that satisfy your choices. You can specify the region in which you want to study, the type of program (full-time, part-time, accelerated, etc.), and more.

Improving your GMAT score from a 460 to a 650 is no joke, and there’s no single GMAT resource that will do the trick for you. To achieve a 190-point improvement, you’ll have to work like crazy. Anybody who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you something. Sure, if you take your best quant and your best verbal score, you’ll have something better than a 460, and that’s encouraging… but it would still be only around a 560. (Then again, if we took your lowest quant and verbal scores, then you wouldn’t be very happy.) There’s a GMAT score calculator included in the links below if you’d like to take a look. I’m pretty sure that anybody who puts in enough time can score a 650 on the GMAT, but you might be looking at several months of daily studying to make it happen. At minimum, you’ll want to do every question in the GMAT Official Guide and the GMAT Quant Review and the GMAT Verbal Review, you’ll definitely want to take the free official GMATPrep tests as you approach your test day, and you’ll probably need some extra help from test-prep guides–Manhattan GMAT probably would be the best place to start. And take lots of practice tests, since timing is as important to your GMAT score as content knowledge. Again, the GMATPrep and Manhattan GMAT might be the best places to start, but only after you’ve done tons of work in the Official Guide or other prep books. But no, you won’t necessarily drag your MBA classes down just because you’ve struggled on the GMAT through two attempts. Check out the “I just beat the GMAT!” stories at Beat The GMAT (see below) if you need some inspiration. A jump from 460 to 650 can be done… it’s just really, really hard to do. I hope you succeed.
