A degree from a Canadian university or an accredited US university will be recognized in the other country. However the exact steps which will be needed to be certified as a professional engineer will depend on the provincial or state licensing body.

schools, colleges, and universities are up for accreditation.. it basically screws the students over if those institutions lose their accreditation..

each institution clearly states whether or not it’s accreditation is accepted internationally or not.. some countries request that transcripts/records etc. are translated into their language… like transcripts for schools in the USA are accepted anywhere how ever some schools might request that the transcripts and other documents be translated and notarized (a sort of stamp to prove the documents were officially translated… that not someones mommy translated them..)

So basically depends on the university and also on the country that a person wants to use the Canadian degree in..

like another person said some areas of study require different documentation…

a person who studies psychology for example in Palestine meets the educational standard requirements for a psychologist in Palestine.. while in America different standards are posted.. some courses might be dropped due to not being relevant.. or more courses would be needed to be taken in America to meet AMERICA’S standard requirements..

US Degrees are recognized anywhere in the world. Conversely, Canadian degrees are only recognized in third world countries.
