Why isn’t the letter E used on report cards ?
It just goes A,B,C,D and F, why not use E ?

Too easy for a conniving kid with an “F” to change it to an “E”.

some where down the line of grading A replaced E
When my sister was in school E meant excellent
There was also a G for Good, VG for very good
F never went away
