YES a 3.5 is a good GPA. the Highest I still believe is a 4.0.
I had a 3.7 when I graduated. 3.5 is or is almost high honors depending on the school systems rules now. I am not sure what they are any more being out of school so long now.
They are good enough for both of those schools though! My Cousin went to N.E and his GPA was lower than yours.
