Nothing would benifit you more to put, it doesn’t effect your score at all. Put that you are white, it is just for statistic perposes. So chose what you want, but changing your race does not in any way change the score of your sat

mr. knowitall is right,

this is purley for statistics, so they can say “9 out of 10 white people scored a 1300 on the sat” or whatever.

thanks for answering my question btw

Answering those types of questions are completely up to you. They cannot force you to answer or hold anything against you if you choose not to respond. They only ask that question for statistical demographics.

It absolutely doesn’t matter. The question is allowed to be asked only for statistics. You can put down whatever you like, it won’t have any effect.

Even in US govt. forms, you can declare any race or ethnicity you like. It’s not illegal to deliberately answer it wrong.

You should be honest. If you don’t want to answer, you don’t have to. That is just for them to keep track of the diversity of the school. People are intelligent no matter what their race. You will get in or not get in based on your academic abililties.

You had me come all the way over here to answer a question like this?

Just put ‘I do not wish to respond.’

Your college won’t see your race that you put on the SAT. They only see your score breakdown.

It doesn’t matter, it is only used for statistical purposes. Colleges won’t see it, just answer honestly.
